This is beautiful work Andrii. I love your Carpathian images!
Andrii Maykovskyi replied:
But this photo is not about Carpathians. It is pine forest next to village nearby Chernihiv where is my parent's house :)

Beautifully atmospheric photography. And quite exceptional in general considering all occurring in Ukraine at this time.

wonderful work, Hope you are well , Russian forces encircled and bombed Chernihiv-oblast Feb. and March 22, Ukranian forces have retaken, but missles continue. Will pray for you.
Andrii Maykovskyi replied:
Thank you for your pray! I leave Chernihiv with my family on March 17 to save my 8-year son and 2 wife's nephews. Now we returned to Chernihiv, there is no active battles here now, but Russians continue to attack Ukraine. We have no electricity and heating some time but comtinue to struggle for our land. Thank you once more!

Superb~I like the way the space between the trees adds as much to the composition as the trees themselves.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
